Secure My Booking is a leading provider of ticket insurance globally and is well established counting some of the largest sellers of tickets in the UK as our clients. Our team brings experienced professionals from the insurance and ticketing sectors together which ensures we can offer useful products based on our team’s extensive knowledge of the ticketing industry. Secure My Booking is owned by JM Marketing Ltd (JMM), a long established intermediary and binding underwriter on behalf of syndicates at Lloyd’s of London, based in the City of London.

We believe no two clients are alike with festivals customers being different to theatre patrons, we work with you to provide an insurance coverage for your customers that meets their needs and ensures you are offering an appropriate protection to your customers. JMM’s management has been working with the Sports, Leisure and Entertainment (SLE) sectors since 1994.  We started to develop online ticket reimbursement programs in 2000 and now work with organisations in the UK, EU, and North America. Secure My Booking ticket reimbursement programs have been designed for and provided to customers around the world since 2007.

The ticket reimbursement programs are underwritten at Lloyd’s of London.  All ticket reimbursement claims are managed online through our appointed representative who as a third party ensure all claims are fairly dealt with according to the schemes terms and conditions.

Who’s behind Secure My Booking?

Julian Berry – Managing Director

Julian Berry joined the Insurance industry in 1986 with Cigna Worldwide.  He joined the Lloyd’s market in 1993 and has worked as a binding underwriter and broker for more than 20 years.  Julian founded JM Marketing Ltd in 2004 to design and develop new insurance product offerings for commercial and corporate entities worldwide.

JMM has established strong partnerships and working relationships with Lloyd’s underwriting syndicates and numerous insurance brokers and is now a fully accredited Lloyd’s broker and cover holder.

Prior to joining the Insurance industry Julian served in the Merchant Navy achieving the Class 1 (FG) Master Mariner qualification, his last three years in command of large ocean going vessels trading worldwide. He is a member of the Honourable Company of Master Mariners which has its livery hall on board HQS Wellington, moored on the River Thames in London. Julian is also a member of National Associations for the Rail, Maritime and Transport Industries.

John Lister – Director

After a successful career in England, John moved to Gibraltar in 1985 where he founded the Capital Growth Limited Group of Companies, to provide Offshore Tax Planning Services worldwide, in 1995. The CGL Group of Companies are licensed by the FSC in Gibraltar. He founded Sterling Services Limited in Dubai in 2008 to provide Financial Services for clients with interests in the Middle East, Far East and Africa. John has been a Director of JM Marketing Ltd since 2004.

Will Quekett – Business Development Director

Will has worked in Leisure and Entertainment in Australia and England for over 30 years. Prior to joining JMM he was Director at Large for The Ticket Factory at the NEC in Birmingham.

Previous experience includes Head of Ticketing and Operations IT for the Millennium Dome in London, Business Development Director for Seatem (Europe), management of the BOCS ticketing network in Perth and the First Call ticket agency in Sydney which he set up in 1994.

Peter I’anson – Business Development Manager

For over 10 years Peter has worked in the ticketing industry starting at The Lowry where he worked on setting up Quaytickets before moving overseas to set up a ticket agency. After 4 years living in Abu Dhabi and Manila he came back to the UK to work for leading ticketing software vendors AudienceView and TopTix and helped launch the UK’s leading ticketing event Ticketing Professionals Conference. Prior to working in ticketing Peter worked for HMRC in personal taxation and in the late 90’s worked for Natwest on a project readying the bank for the Euro.
